We use Adjust mobile attribution to anonymously track and analyse which marketing channels are working best for the Yoti app. We do this to find out how users came to download the app and, once the app has been downloaded, how it's being used.
We only use analytics and tracking to optimise our campaigns and ensure we’re targeting ads at people more likely to use the Yoti app. Currently we only ever track up until a user shares their details for the first time. We also don’t run any retargeting campaigns.
We use Snowplow to analyse user behaviour, for example, looking into whether a user completed account creation or left the app before finishing. We also use Firebase to monitor any issues users might be experiencing with the app. We use this data to make changes and improvements to the app.
This data will always be anonymous and can never identify you personally. We also never sell or transfer any data to third parties – this is firmly against our principles.
You can choose to switch off all forms of tracking in the Yoti app by going to More > Settings > Account settings > Analytics and tapping the ‘Share analytics data’ toggle.
